NETGEAR Names Leslie Adams Vice President of Marketing
Newest member of executive management team to enhance NETGEAR customer focus
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — October 29, 2002 — NETGEAR, Inc., a worldwide provider of easy-to-use, high performance networking products at prices affordable to homes and growing businesses, today announced that it has named Leslie Adams its new Vice President of Marketing. In this newly created position, Leslie has responsibility for worldwide marketing for NETGEAR including product management, product marketing, channel marketing and all corporate communication functions including public relations and advertising. She will be reporting to Ray Robidoux, President.

Before joining NETGEAR, Leslie was Vice President Marketing Services & Integration with HP and prior to that, Compaq Computer Corporation’s Vice President Volume Marketing and Vice President Consumer, Americas. Her seven years at Compaq included responsibility for the go-to-market strategy for both commercial and consumer products. Her experience also includes seven years with AT&T Consumer Products in several Marketing Director roles (including International Business Director) and five years at AT&T Information Systems in Computer Systems and Small Business Systems management roles.
She received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Bucknell University.
